November 30th in Europe,
December 8th in JP
Fixed=P

I'm still very interested in the Wii U but I'm still not sure if I'll purchase it. Why you may ask?
Well it's simple I WANT NHL 13 (and NHL in general) on the console and if I can't get that I might not purchase it at all. Because as I said I really want NHL 13 and I do not want to have to buy an other console just for it (especially not one that is "outdated") and I do not have the money to so either.

But I suppose I'll purchase Wii U sooner or later (hoping for the premium pack but I bet I can only afford the standard one).
The games that are heading to the Wii U looks awesome and so does the playing style.

I'll get it just for Smash Bros, then wait for Pokemon & Zelda ect. And i hope Bayonetta 2 isn't an exclusive on the Wii U for too long.

As for the pre order, i'ma wait off on that. The specs are a lot lower than i thought they were gonna be, 32 Gigs seems so small T_T. Transferring digital games is a plus though.

I don't understand why people are criticizing the flash memory for being only 32GB. Isn't it better to have a cheaper price and the ability to use any USB hard drive as external storage rather than being forced to pay extra for a fixed amount of (proprietary) storage that a good portion of people probably won't use?

Well, for the Wii U 32GB might last a long time, but for my 360, it didn't last me a year. But then again i've had a terrible experience with my 360 one week in.

I'm sure the Wii U will be more tolerable, i would still like more space. The thousands of pics i made on Brawl & about a hundred stages were fun. The Wii has 1GB or less iirc & if there's gonna be DLC on the Wii U you can bet 32GB will not be enough.

I look forward to having as much games as i can get off the Virtual Console, and if they start doing em in 1080p... yeah...

I'm not saying it will be enough space but adding a HDD would increase the system price significantly. As it is, anyone who needs more space can just plug in any USB HDD or SD that they have laying around.

I'd rather buy a bigger HDD for the Wii should they decide to release it. I only install all my games on my 360 because it's loud as heck otherwise. I doubt the Wii U will be like that, but i'll probably end up installing a ton a games from the Virtual Console.

Here's to fast loading screens.

its better that nintendo is going to let you use SD cards or any usb storage device to expand the memory. They are not forcing to buy some over priced 120 gb hard drive.
Would you want Nintendo to do what sony did with the vita. over priced mem cards?.
also with an external drive you can easily backup the data. something you cant do on xbox with out the stupid cable and you can only do it like twice?. (well you can use limux and clone the drive but you cant place a 1tb drive in xbox)

The wii U is not outdated. yeha it doe snot have the latest GPU. do you know how much the latest GPU costs? over $500. Do you really want to buy a console for $800?

SO yeah i perfer external storage. My wii has a External 160GB drive and im good.

Not hating on external hard drives or SD cards/USB's just saying i would personally prefer a bigger HDD so that i don't have to change storage devices, it just goes.

You like what you like, i like what i like.

actually the 360 transfer cable can be used twice a year which means as long as someone takes care of there 360 they wont have to worry about using the transfer cable that much unless they buy and transfer every special edition console that comes out

Well M$ and sony are going the ways like apple. Buying extra axcorries .ect

The wii u is backworads compatable with the wii. I don't see filling up 32 gb of space on the wii if the games are on disks.

and the load times are fine.

I doubt I could fill it with classic games. I only install what I play.

Personally, I wish every console came standard with a low capacity internal hard drive, and the ability to utilize any external hdd.

Lower production costs = Lower retail costs = Win

No proprietary memory storage units = Better cost value = Win

that's the thing. the 360 breaks to much. Everyone i talk to gets RROD. Does the Transfer make a copy of the data or does it just transfer? If it makes a 1:1 copy then that's good cause then you can have 2 hard drives 1 for backup and 1 for usage. With wii U we can clone our hard drives. making as many copies as we want.
