Wii U: Predictons

Nice, i might have more munty soon, gonna buy me a Wii as my bros is still only being held together by tape & i am looking forward to VC purchases (kind of).

Or i might save up for a Wii U if it's 100% backwards compatible like the

Wii/DS/GC/GBASP/GBA.

I just hope they make a license transfer available on the Wii U.

Well the Wii u can play wii games, I have no clue about cube games, I doubt it

Licence tranfer. I think it will happen!
Cube games should be able to be bought via the Wii shop,

I doubt PSO will see any light on the WII u,
I hope PSO 2 may make a wii u release, that would be cool


I hope the WII u has a biger memorie and can save stuff to usb hdd drives.

I'm very possitive that you can not play GC games on it. Since Wii was an "improvement" of Gamecube it supported Gamecube games. Wii U is an improvement of Wii so it should/will support Wii games.

I believe that Wii U will not sell equally as much/as fast as the regular Wii did (because to some Wii was a flop and they no longer support Wii, thinking it will be kind of the same this time) but it will be at least ten times more awesome. If Wii U will get the really big tittles I think it will be the best console on the market (in most of our opinions) and bring back alot of people to Nintendo/Wii.

Personally I don't need the really big tittles but it would be a big plus (so you don't have to have different consoles just to get the games you want)

With Wii U's incredibble design and function (Wii U gamepad) and not to mention HD quality it will definatelly be a "once in a life-time experience". Wii U appears to have the best and funniest playing methods (and most awesone), so basically it has GREAT POTENTIAL.
That looks promissing for Wii U and Nintendo. The Wii U will be awesome no matter what.

Games I'd like to see on the Wii U:
NHL games
GTA
Timesplitters 4... (if it ever will be created)
Phantasy star online 2
Mario games
Quite a bit of "third party games"

I love third party games cause they don't necessarily follow the basic formulas that first party developers are so fond of. PSO2 would be nice i guess, but it will probably end up like Dungeon Defenders (Console Vs PC). I'm sure the Vita will also fall far behind with updates. Either way i'm still swamped with games i've yet to play.

All i know is there is a high chance of DLC for Wii U. Since Wii had 2-3 titles with it & 3DS has incoming DLC for premiere games(on launch & onwards). Although they will make some DLC obtainable without actual real life currency (3DS).

I totally agree on the third party game comment.
PSO2 may not be as good as the original (if it would be launched on Wii U) but it would be a nice surprise.

I'm talking about third party in general Jake, with companies like Atlas, Hudson, Namco, Sega, Bethesda, Mojang, Double Fine, and one of my faves, NIS. They make few games but those few cover wide genres & provide variety.
(I just wish i had some more Sony consoles since a lot of NIS games are only for Sony.)

Other wise we would only have Mario-esque games from nintendo, Halo-esque from MacSoft, and Kratos-esque from Sony.

Although i can see what you mean with EA & Activision, they are giants that produce many games that appear to be first party, or at the very least repetitive.

I wonder if the wii u will be able to handle more JP games (maybe have more region free games), their are a few games that already look promising even though I am not a fan of the wii U or Nintendo ironically.

Wii U is truly "one of a kind".

Roboto: How good would the Wii be if it only had first party games?
Sure Nintendo has some good games but if they don't expand beyond their own games the Wii would/will not reach it's true potential. And they would lose customers and money on it as well. Then the Wii U would be much of an improvement (and yet it still would be, if you get what I mean)

And I also hope/wish the new Wii will have quite a bit more memory for data.

Who the hell cares about sony? They are going to die in the next 10 years
All they have is movie games, Nothing cool or intretsting.

Most third party companys have made only shit for the wii, look at all of the "sports games" that tried to clone wii sports.

I don't think I have a third party title on my wode to be honest.
(Wode is a Wii mod chip where you can plug in a usb hard drive and load games off that)

Second party games are not to bad, (Where nitnendo and another company are working to gether like for kirby games)

However i do know that's because it just barely started to sprinkle some of that nintendo gold that it's fans have been waiting for since it's release (Super Mario 3D Wolrd), consoles sold like hotcakes in JP after they bundled the game with it, the game in & of itself sold quite well as well. First party games is what it's lacking in my opinion.


















On another note, i hope microsoft fails hard with the Xbone, and may Playstation Plus continue to rain goodness upon us all.
