It's a bit ridiculous when you're playing and other players throw items like sealed j-swords just to make room in their inventory.

Besides, afaik the primary cause of FSODs on this server is l33tserv TTF; why not just take it out since it's obviously bugged?
How does one go about easily backing up and restoring a GameCube memory card?

Using GCMM. If you're using a wii you can just run it direct from the homebrew channel, if you're using a GC you can use PSOload to run it.

Cool. I do have access to a Wii but it's my brothers and he does not want any sort of homebrew so I'll respect his wishes. This leaves the GameCube. Does GCMM require a GameCube SD adapter or does this PSOload too allow me to GCMM to an existing memory card? I was reading some documentation for GCMM and PSOload and it's not really clear to me if I need that GC SD adapter or not.

If all else fails in the GC front I can always find a cheap Wii somewhere.

I'm actually a bit unclear on this myself, but I do highly suggest getting a GC SD adapter. They're great! Very Happy

I got myself one of those hoping I could use it as a really big memory card, or even just a swap drive lol a mini one.
I have like twenty 65mb sd and sdminis, sadly it didn't work and I really don't know what else I can do with it.
I'd be very interested if you have any information you could send me Kron. Razz

If you had one with at least 4gbs you can store and launch GC ISO files (.gcms) from it. This also allows use of GC Disk mods like this:

You can do it with a Wii without the GC SD adapter. xD

You have to unpackage the .gcm file, replace the particle effects .dat file, then repackage the .gcm.

Well then no wonder I thought it was a bit useless for me. xP
Anyways what program would I use to open the .gcm? winrar, lol?

I should note that while that mod will work on the Wii, other mods might not due to Devolution's Piracy check. That's when the SD Media launcher and an old fashioned GC will come in handy.

Winrar will definitely not work xD but a google search will show a few different pretty decent options. Very Happy

I don't think that program will work with PSO's savefile since it's protected. Use GCMM to make a raw dump of the memory card, use Dolphin's memory card manager to copy the savefile from Devolution's memcard.bin to the raw dump then use GCMM to write it back to the card.
