Rant : Steam sucks and is bloated

Okay, am I the only one besides capt.N that hates steam?


I am trying to uninstall tf2 and portal as they are taking up 20 gigs on my hard drive, and I need steam to be running while uninstalling games,
I then need to dick around in there software to figure out how to delete the games off my computer,


after like 3 hours of messing around I finaly got the prick to uninstall portal, and tf2

now again I need to go though and delete all of the stupid trash files it left on my system great steam great.


Why is it needed? Im never going to use there stupid online,

oh and tf2 and portal will not wokr with an xbox 360 controller or a ps3 controller, and ive messed with the games settings for like a hour, so fk steam



okay I just had to rant about stupid steam,

oh and it took for ever for my to log in steam servers, and on there fourm you have to wait for an admin to open the acount, as I thought steam broke on me and did not even know how to install,


okay im sorry I just want to know what people think about steam and how crappy it is

Lol, I hate steam too. If I want a game, I simply go to the source instead of bother with steam.

I've downloaded Terraria on Steam, but I think that's the last thing I'll buy on there. Oh wait, I guess I got Team Fortress 2 as well, but to me it's an unbalanced, clumsy ass shooter that I spent like a few hours on and will never play again. The idea that I have to be running their program in order to even play either game strikes me as a huge load of crap though. Before I got it I was hoping it was just a download/update client or something with a handy chat feature, but no such luck. Everything apparently has to be this gigantic, ad-ridden social networking clusterfuck, apparently.

You know my frend gave me his coppy of portal 2 for computer and it wants to install steam what a load of shit,


im not playing online, and the stupid disk is in the drive is that not enough, oh I posted asking how to play portal 2 with out the dam steam running and there is no way around it what a load of fking shit

Skimmed your thread. Nekomancer looks like a massive asshole, especially with his usage of "Period" and "Deal with it". Seems like there is someone like that on every forum - the consistency doesn't stop me from wanting to put a bullet in their heads every time though. It doesn't seem wise to waste your time there.
