a rant about cd emulation
i went back from my friends today borrowing his ps1/2 usb converter so i can now finally emulate feeling like i am playing on a real game system so i test it on psobb it didn't work at first after tinkering with it it worked which is cool and next i tried it with snes9x it worked flowlessly so i figured i go get epsx and i could get the emulator to work so i talked to kroniedon and he says to use pseven and i do and i load up a iso which was sukidon 2 and it didn't work so i deleted the ps stuff and figured i would try a sega saturn emulator because i had good memories with the saturn so i do that and download daytona usa iso load it and it does nothing why are cart based emulators so easy to use but cd ones are a pain in the ass maybe someone may want to help me with this or worse comes to worse go on team viewer and make a cd based emulator work for me or something

Re: a rant about cd emulation
I find that its the same thing, as the system has a locking method with the disk and its much harder to emulate,
Sega satruns emulator sucks balls, dont even bother with it,
Sega cd I herd is okay
ps1 its better to have the games as iso files
but also could your computer be not up to the task of eulating systems like that?

Idk, PS1 emulation seems to work better from disk, as it has a better image quality. PS2 however definitely go with the ISO, which reminds me... I need to make an ISO of my ffx disk as I don't have a ps2
Re: a rant about cd emulation
best bet is to get a chiped ps1 and download the games, cheapest in the long run and plus you can backup your games
I dont emulate that much so I dont know much as I use to know about it,
hurar for chips

Lol, I don't even see with time either. I download to my PC, decompress then play. No need to find/dig out my system (mine is literally buried), burn it to any other storage device, and or modify it and potentially destroy my system.
Re: a rant about cd emulation
in the long run i rather have a system chiped \ hacked, and all old systems are super cheap, but then again I like to do all of that shit
