Re: Stradivarius 1736
Skin flute isn't an instrument =P lol, anyways, I posted that because I needed a pic uploaded somewhere because the file wasn't transfering to the person in question. The specs on the violin:
Made in Cremonelis, Italy in the year 1736 by Antony Stradivari (Antonius Stradivarius) out of hard wood basically petrified in cold mineral waters. It is 275 years old. It came into my possession from the now deceased local violin maker (he also made other wooden and folk instruments). It had been passed in his family as an heirloom, as a series of violin makers. They used this Stradivarius as a template for their own work. Since the local violin maker, Dude Paisley, didn't have any heirs, he sold it to my mother
for 200$ and she gave it to me for my 16th birthday. He died the day before my birthday, and the reason he sold was because he knew his time was short.... This violin has seen more ages of men than many things in this world. It's older that the United States, which is weird to think about....
