Is there a way to back up your PSO data?
Topic. I've lost 1 character to corrupt data and would prefer not to lose my current character.

its not ported from schthack, never was it was ported from the pal verson of the game,
any ways it was capt_N and Daco that made, it
there is also a recovery server that is online once in a blue moon that will also be able to save I am hoping we can some how figure out to get the code for that part,

You're completely right about that it's Cpt N and Daco that made it, What I simply meant was that it was imported from SCHTack since it was originally posted there. forgot the letter "I" and "m", lol

I just wanted to give help to the two super cool that made the code possible,
I've yet to test it though
but new ars will not work with it sadly
you can always fire over, ar 1.4 via pso load if you do not have it and just use that,
any ways back to hunting for nothing

Re: Is there a way to back up your PSO data?
it works great. i have done it to clone my char Captain N4.
you jsut need a 2nd mem card to store the backup.
you can also use a wii to make a backup of the entire mem card. but it can only be restored to the same mem card it came from. it requires a homebrew enabled wii, a wii program called GCMM and a sd card.

Re: Is there a way to back up your PSO data?
gcmm does not let pso be moved to another card, I had that problem, I gave up
ar is your best bet,

You have to have one of the older action replays for Gamecube? Crap. I bought an action replay for my Gamecube recently actually only to find that YOU CAN'T ADD CODES TO IT! Seriously, who's genius idea was it to make a cheating device that doesn't allow you to add your own codes?

Re: Is there a way to back up your PSO data?
Yes you need to have one of the older versions (prefered v1.14). The most recent version (v1.2) will not work. The reason why they removed the add code feature is due to various reasons. Allthough it was rather bad that they did

Can you still buy the version you suggested (version 1.14)?

Re: Is there a way to back up your PSO data?
Yes but they are rather hard to find sometimes, They also go under the name ACTION REPLAY MAX, disc should not be colored the same as the v1.2 one. Easiest way to obtain one is through ebay, they do cost a bit though

Re: Is there a way to back up your PSO data?
I still got my AR Max, was only $8 in the store, but my bro lent it to someone a month after we got it & that person managed to crack it in half & then some, it still holds together somehow but obviously does not work...
Wish it did, then my Corruption character can be level negative 9001

you can use pso load, to then load the 1.4 ar to the game cube then load pso via that, no online but will work with the code,

ar is your best bet,
Id does only if you image the entire memory card.
if you buy the codejunkies SD media Lanucher you can boot the old versions of action replay. All you need is the ar .dol files from the disc and they boot off the SD media launchers SD card

Re: Is there a way to back up your PSO data?
I know this topic is a little old, but I'm hoping someone can help me out again. I have the AR version that lets you add your own codes. However, the disc is scratched up and sometimes takes a few tries before finally loading. As such, I'd like to make a backup of the files and put them on an SD card. I'm also planning on getting Codejunkies' SD Media Launcher so I can launch my AR from an SD card. My question is this: how do I rip the files from the AR disc and the memory card thingy (yes that's the technical term for it I looked it up )?
