ET for the 2600 - Is it the worst game ever?

First off,

I have never played ET for the Atari 2600. I Personally do not think its that bad because of how everyone made it seem.

Yes The Video game crash was caused by this pile of shit. But remember at the time Video games were almost all the same, and this came out during the holiday season. and was very rushed.

Second it was a movie game. Movie games always suck.

Third it was only in development for 6 weeks from what I understand and made by one guy or a small group.
Nothing can be perfect in 6 week

I honestly think this could not be the worst game of all time. What was released was just a final beta of sorts.

Fourth, It was over produced and over pushed because it was a movie game.

If anything it goes to Super Man 64 (Nintendo 64) (They could of had a better game, Money was not even a problem) \ Sonic 2006 (Sega just sucked)
