Wind waker you say...
How is it... compared to the Gamecube title, that is.
allthough to be fair, I haven't played the regular wind waker either, but I do own the "regular" wind waker game (Special edition, including OoT and OoT master quest).
Purchased the game considerably cheap about 4-6 months ago, off ebay

It's largely the same game, just full of nifty tweaks here and there.
Aside from the obvious graphical differences: You can move while in first person, only three of the triforce pieces require you to get a chart first, Instead of the Tingle Tuner, we get this interesting little Miiverse gimmick, you can carry up to 500 rupees at the beginning of the game, and there is a second sail you can buy that almost doubles the speed you can sail at and automatically changes the wind to blow in the direction you're sailing.
