Re: LOTR's Online
Oddly enough I have played this before but found D&D online to be even better when I found out it had become free to play.
(You never have to play alone with D&D online, you can by your own NPC or two and have them join in on your quests)
I would have thought you were more of the everquest type to be honest...

Nope. The only reason I played LOTRO was to give me something to do in college and some of my friends/family played it lol. Same thing with Grand Fantasia. Believe it or not, online RPGs really aren't my thing xD.... so says the Admin of a PSO:GC community... lol

Well you can't take it as an insult since it is a complement...lol
However APB reloaded is a little more edgier then grand theft auto.....but free to play thank god

Eh, gib me my Skyrim, Halo, and minecraft and I'll be fine. I've found the best way of combating the addiction of PSO is to develop for it =P. Half the time I don't even wanna see PSO at all xD

I want to redo the PSO2 servers.....(people should be planning for the now you know...PSO2 has no offline features)
- I know PSO2 is just getting started but still..
(Back on topic)
I merely played LOTRO for the nostalgia do to the 3 movies that were released at the time and soon the movie "THE HOBBIT" which should have been the first release instead of the fellowship......lol
(I prefer the carton version at some point since it is short...lol)
clerks 2 made the best side joke about LOTR..lol
WARNING LITE LANGUAGE AND OBSCURE GESTURES MENTIONED

Re: LOTR's Online
Nah, I'm glad the LOTRs came first in the modern movies. It'll just make Smog's defeat all the sweeter with better technology. I also kinda want to see the trolls turn to stone. Oh! and the giant Dwarf war, I want to see that too xD.

I own the original cartoon version and I have to agree with you I can't wait to see the war either..but of each race...
(each race fighting each other in the cartoon over small differences till the goblins attack...lol)
Re: LOTR's Online

The cartoon version was awesome. I loved the book though. I make it a point to read the entire Red Book (the Hobbit + the lord of the rings) every year.

It's rather understandable that you do not want to see PSO too often now.
And to stay on topic, I believe one of my friends had this game. I like to remember we played it occasionaly
