Connection Issues!

If anyone has any connection issues within the next few weeks, please post them here. I'm testing a new piece of server software right now and I need to make sure it's fully operational.

I have one issue about how connect in l33 is possible using one emulator?

So I love the fact that this server has great content, but unfortunately I've been unable to access it in the middle of the night. Today is my second time trying at about 2 AM PST. During the day, I can connect, and the website says the server's up right now, but the trees don't turn around to red; they just stay at green, and sometimes, i'm auto disconnected, but idk if that could just be my settings.

I also was connected via auto DNS settings, and then changed them to manual to try just now, with no success. Also, I had been only using automatic to connect when I was connecting before, however i don't think that should affect it since i was able to get on previously...

The server needed a reboot It should be working fine now.

all the quests say they failed to download... Tried different lobbies, but they wont work.
But I can log into the server, everything is lag free and working otherwise.

My friends and I are now able to play quests again, and I wanted to say thank you for all the work you have done past and present. As a side note I was wondering if you ever had or know of the quest "Strange Sightings", I noticed it gone from other places it used to be. thoughts?

I actually have that quest in my personal archives, but I don't host it on the server due to it belonging to Schtserv. Your best bet to get that quest is to PM captain N and ask him to run his download server.

Also, to whomever tried to connect like 10 minutes ago.. yeah, that 100 error you most likely got was my fault. xD I'm switching out the DNS Server with an updated version, and I accidentally uploaded my test version that redirects to my internal IP.

At the time of this posting, the server is down and there's absolutely nothing I can do about it. Apparently the company that hosts our VPS server machine is down, and our VPS down with it. I've attempted to contact our host through their website... but their website is also down. I'll update here whenever I find something out.

Ok.. so less than a minute after posting that, I'm able to get in.. so the server is back up.

im trying to connect to l33tserv, but keep getting the No.101 message after being connected to the network.
i can connect to schthack and sylverant. the server seems to bet online and i tried everything so far, but it won't work.
i'll be grateful for any help.

Are you using PSO+ or a pal edition?

Ok, I saw you try to connect a few moments ago. I made another change and you MIGHT be able to now. If not, then I'll have to work on it tonight when I get home from work.

You should be able to connect at the moment as I'm running the old DNS server while I work on ironing out the problem in the new one.

If you can't connect with us running the old configuration, then it means something far worse is wrong that I'll have to go get resolved through the ISP.

I'm going to test connections with a pal version to see if I can't find the issue. For NTCS players, PSO+ should be working just fine. Just double checked it myself to be certain. For the pal version I'm waiting on my download to finish, because I'm totally not downloading a copy to freeboot on my GC xD

Just an update:
I expect this to be a port issue as opposed to a DNS hop issue as I previously thought it was. The Pal version will help me verify this and hopefully fix said issue.

No because..well, my TV supports pal mode... BUT I need the OEM remote... Not the universal one I'm using. Tried dolphin for half a minute and said screw it. You should be able to connect, if not you'll need to try setting your cube to a static IP in your DCHP and forward ports 9200, 9201 and 9203 to your cube. That should allow you to connect.

Hello guys. This is my post here.. ^^ I got my wii softmodded just to play pso gc online and tried to connect l33tserv but got 101 error too. I'm using PSO Plus US version and just followed this guide.

By the way i can connect to schthack without any problem, but i can't connect to both sylverant and l33tserv.
and i do not want to use schthack because I hate its administrations.. lol
I'm definitely not a tech-type guy so following any guide is the only thing I can do.. if anyone give me any clue to solve this issue that would be grateful. Thank you.

Devolution connections are all done through Tueidj's server. Maybe another Devolution user will see this and confirm if they can connect using Devo.
