I would like and know what you think of the idea of not putting rules on using hacks in psobb Server pc and also on the server psoV2 pc

would be just helping the members with information but would not

I suggest we put it to a vote, but part of me doesn't want to have to be a mod to a server with rampant hacking...  That would get old pretty fast.  I'd suggest we be more LENIENT on hackers, but obviously an excessive amount would not be acceptable.

I think there should be SOME rules, more than just the obvious "no harming other players in any way."

People who want to play legit should still be able to without having people randomly join their games with God of Equip and other disruptive hacks running rampant at the very least.

Yeah i completely agree, that'd be probably the best way to maintain higher number of people without cutting out people from either group (legit or hacking)

On sylverant the idea is simplye, if it can't be detected, then it's allowed, with that in mind certain things were allowed such as altered item, enemy, and char stats.

Players then decided to follow bluecrab sugestions, to either lock games or leave.

In order to create an enviroment that makes players feel confortable, knowing that they are encouraged to report any incident is to make hacks not allowed, but make a command such as /legit to identify such game, or make it legit only, because if we look closely, when it comes to cheating, there are many places already, the option to cheat won't bring anything new.
Beeing able to cheat anywhere isn't a feature.

We can deal with rare problems such as a player that is cheating but we can't prove, but 1st cheating and hacking in general must be discouraged, so that these problems appear rarely, having a /legit game and then allow players with altered drop rates to be the host is simply a slap on the face.

If a "switch" for legit gameplay is done, make it visible from the game selection when you are in the lobby, green and red colors work well.

A yes or no question is hard, i'm leaning towards no, simply because i can do the unallowed stuff elsewhere.

Well when you put it like that, then yes I would completely support your position. It's very difficult to see too far into the future when it comes to things like this, and I suppose i wouldn't want to have to moderate things that you've mentioned. But when you think of the player base, I sure would like to see a constant flow of players being on the server here! Whether or not they are cheating, as long as they aren't griefing, i suppose i could let it slide by me. If they are just out to have fun and aren't really being detrimental to other players or the server is a whole other story than what we've talked about. But like i said, i do support your position so long as we leave alone players that are only out to have some non-detrimental fun

I never supported the use of hacks Anyway I did this poll to try to be a little
Democratic....now I'm going to enforce the rule of not using hack
at least in psobb in psopc

I suppose there could be a separate ships just for players that want to use hacks.
the ship would have separate characters from the legit ships. Let Player copy his/her characters to the hack only ship but not copy them to the legit ship.
this way all the players that want to hack have a place to themselves.

this will also depend on how your server software is setup. Players might have to create a new account for the hack ship.

That is a good idea.

Keep in mind and from my own experience, players that hack or cheat will most likely want to mingle with the normal players.
That suggestion is pretty nice, it's far less troublesome then to enter and set up commands to inform the players in the lobby what type of game you are in, if you arer in the ship then you are already protected by it's rules.
I like that.

I use the software scht psov2   
I thought of using fuzziqer but it is very complicated    and the sylverant

This is probably way too late for me to contribute, but I voted no hacks as well. I wonder, though, do reskins and graphics patches count as hacking, or do just gameplay related tools count as hacking?

Cosmetics don't alter gameplay mechanics (99% of them atleast)
